We are in an insect apocalypse. Every year, we lose at least 2% of Earth’s insect population.
This zine was inspired by the common fear of bugs, Entomophobia. Most of us grow up being afraid of bugs, perhaps something that is taught, or perhaps an evolutionary instinct we are born with. The reality is that the majority of insects serve more good than bad. They are the the fabric of our ecosystem, food for our animals and the pollinators of our crops. Without them, we would not exist. This zine is intended to remind people of the importance of insect lives and think twice before mindlessly killing that bug in your house.
