With two other students, we collaborated to create a trail that would be theoretically exhibited at Edinburgh Zoo in 2024. The trail aims to create an experience that would convince visitors to donate to the conservation of Lion’s Mane Fungus, an endangered mushroom species in the UK. To do this, we personified our fungus and created Freddie, a young skater whose habitat is being destroyed by deforestation. Taking you on an adventure, Freddie Fungi leads you through the trail to the eventual donation point, hoping you donate what you can to the cause of rebuilding his home. My contribution to this project was the illustration, character design, layouts, and visual identity, which we developed together.
